Fred Wilson is among the finest chess teachers and authors. He authored the recent Cardoza titles, 303 Tricky Checkmates and 303 Tricky Chess Tactics (both with Bruce Alberston)and three other titles, A Picture History of Chess, 101 Questions on How to Play Chess, and 202 Surprising Mates (with Alberston). Wilson edited two other titles, Classical Chess Matches:1907-1913 and Lesser-Known Chess Masterpieces: 1906-1915. He is also the owner of the Fred Wilson Chess Books in New York City.
